These days, there are many lawsuits against big companies. With the rise of technology companies, like GAFA (Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon), its influence on education, and the US economic market, has become a contentious issue.

Recently, Facebook was sued by a set of parents. One of the children developed an eating disorder, acted out self harm, allegedly from viewing Facebook. This is not just a matter of the civil courts. The US department of educations, also, filed a suit against Facebook for getting students distracted from their works and studies. One solution the government proposed was to break up Facebook into several smaller companies. Because Facebook was not competing fairly with other companies and corporations, but buying them up which makes Facebook bigger, while eliminating other businesses at the same time. The US is widely reputed as a supporter of companies and corporations. But is it fair to see this move as hostile against business groups?

In the US antitrust law is a very important aspect of fair business. If a company tries to buy other corporations, and not compete fairly, it might be a big problem to the economic market of the United States. Why?

For example, let's say that company A was competing with a smaller company called company B. But company A bought company B. Then company A bought other companies too. Company C, D, E, F, G... Then the balance of the economic market would shake. Eventually, the government would have to break company A apart into smaller groups of companies and corporations.

How does antitrust relate to the problem of disruption in education? This is not just an issue of Facebook. There are problems with other companies too. Companies and corporations like Youtube, TikTok, Discord, and Roblox also distracts students' education of learning. There was a lawsuit about Facebook putting on ads which are inappropriate for students. But Youtube and TikTok also puts them on. Additionally, Google, Apple, and Amazon is also shaking the balance of the US economic balance.

For companies like Google and Facebook to disrupts the balance the economic market of the US, it becomes more difficult for the government to regulate public issues like education. Here, the size of a corporation becomes an important issue. It becomes easier for companies to use their wealth in other businesses they have bought and currently own. This problem might spread out. Other corporations are also getting bigger and bigger.

For example, Facebook currently owns Instagram, but Instagram's size is getting more bigger. And large companies begin to mix interest in other fields with education. By distracting education from education itself, large companies shake the balance in the US economic market, and needs to be investigated by the government.
